Dan Clark

My passion is hunting. Whether it's the local whitetail deer, turkey, bear or mountain lion, from a young age I've loved the outdoors.

I've been blessed with a talent in art. In my younger year I'd spend hours creating pen and ink drawings of deer, turkey or Western game. So naturally upon graduation, I attended the Community College of the Finger Lakes majoring in Taxidermy. When I graduated from CCFL in 1989 and I began doing taxidermy part time while working construction full time.

In 1996, I opened Dan Clark's Taxidermy full time. Working on client project and my own personal project for competition gaining awards in: Best of Category, People's Choice, Judges' Choice Best Game Head, Judges' Choice Best of Show, and Judges' Choice Most Artistic.

My goal is not to just mount an animal, but to create a life-like interpretation of your trophy. Whether it be a Dall sheep climbing down a rock or a turkey gobbling from a roost, I want your trophy and remember what it was like to "be there."
